I thought the message below might be of interest. It’s been sent by Frances Foley of Compass to all local members.
I’m just getting in touch with a message from your local group organiser, Dickie, about next week’s action on Tuesday 14 February, 10am.
The Salisbury Compass group will have a Compass stand, leaflets and posters, and will be talking to local people about the group and its big launch on 2nd March. They will be in the Cheese Market outside Salisbury Library between 10 and noon. If you’d like to come and help, please get in touch with Dickie: 01722 323453 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. And if you can’t help out but want to lend your support, do drop by for a chat!
This action day is intended to get the word out about the official launch of Salisbury Compass on Thursday 2nd March, 7.30 at the Boathouse, Millstream Approach, Salisbury. The group will be joined by Chair of Compass Neal Lawson and local academic Graham Smith to discuss the state of democracy today. If you’d like more details on these activities, Dickie would love to hear from you. Hope you can make it and many thanks for your support!
