UPDATE: 9 DECEMBER

The fourth Democracy Café was held in our new home at the Playhouse on Saturday and the topic chosen was whether the key utilities should be nationalized.  A full report will be posted soon.

Salisbury Democracy Café has a new home. Salisbury Playhouse has kindly offered The Hawking’s Lounge on the first floor (there is a lift). I think it’s a pleasant space and the acoustics will, hopefully, be much better than the Arts Centre. It’s still in the café but a little separated from the main area.

The first café in it’s new home will be on Saturday 9 December between 10am and noon. Many thanks to Emma Reynolds, Bar and Catering Manager, for allowing us to use this space. And on that note, please support the bar during meetings by buying drink and/or food because they are providing the venue for free.

Hope to see you there,

Dickie
